Below we have separated our selection of Italian experiences into types:

Art Tours:

Florence: Join Eugene Martinez of Ars Opulenta in the historic halls of the Uffizi Gallery and undertand the meaning of the masterpieces, the lives of their creators and their patrons, the wealthy merchants, bankers and politicians who commissioned them. As Eugene says: “Don’t come to the Uffizi just to see a lot of pretty pictures on the wall. Come to see and understand how great art can enrich our lives!”

City Tours:

Florence: Join Eugene Martinez of Ars Opulenta: “Over 2000 years of history, art, culture, tradition, folkore and legend come together in this most special place. Let me accompany you on your discovery of one of the world’s most captivating cities and its surrounding Province. Together we’ll walk the same narrow streets that were the haunts of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Dante, Machiavelli, Galileo, Lorenzo the Magnificent and so many others!”

Cycling Tours:

Piedmont: Join Kent Benson of Hannibal Cycling Tours for exclusive cycling holidays for discerning cyclists. “Hannibal Cycling Tours was born from a passion for cycling and hospitality of the highest standards. We have been offering exclusive cycling tours in Italy for the last five years.”

Kayaking:

Venice: Join René Seindal of Venice Kayak who offers kayaking day trips in the city and in the lagoon. “We’ll paddle with gondolas in Canal Grande and roam the smaller canals, stopping in little squares for lunch. We’ll organise evening paddles through the city after a dinner in the lagoon. We’ll paddle to Murano to see the glassworks, and further around the lagoon to Burano and Torcello. We’ll visit a traditional gondola shipyard and we might even do a voga alla veneta tryout, rowing like a gondolier.”

Vespa Touring:

Umbria: Join Claudia Acquah of Umbria in Vespa who offers the opportunity to pass slowly through the exquisite Umbrian landscape and without any sporty ambition, to discover the enchanting valleys and well-preserved hill-towns, and to indulge in the region’s hearty cuisine and outstanding wines. “The region of Umbria is perfect to be discovered by Vespa: the area you can cover in a day on a Vespa 125 is sufficient to give you a huge variety of impressions, yet small enough to enable you to take them all in and to thoroughly enjoy the experience.”

Wine Tours and Tastings:

Multi Region, Umbria, Veneto

Multi Region: These wine tours and tastings are led by wine experts. In fact on many tours and tastings, your wine guide will be a Sommelier, Master of Wine or Wine Writer. You’ll experience and learn about fine wines as well as the communities, locations and cultures that create them.
