Monty Don’s Italian Gardens Series Begins

Tonight sees the first in a four part series of Monty Don’s Italian Gardens.

The TV guide says: “The horticulturist visits some of Italy’s most interesting and impressive gardens, from lavish hideaways in the south to luxurious retreats in the north. In the first edition, Monty heads to the capital Rome and the surrounding area, where he explores some of the most extravagant gardens ever created”.

For those in Italy with access to UK TV Channels, its on BBC2 London at 22:00 until 23:00 CET (9:00pm – 10:00pm GMT)
